Yeah, I now remember when we were all at Wembley last week you mentioning something about your birthday.
Happy Birthday Ian, all the best mate. Not too old to get down the front at gigs I see.

Happy Birthday, Ian! You can be so proud of this wonderful board that you created. Again, hearty congratulations on your birthday! Enjoy your "forties" while you can! I just celebrated what was my LAST forty-something birthday. "FIFTY" is up next!!!

Heej Trig, it's only a number!
If you feel good and healthy that's all that matters.

Hi Everyone

Thanks a lot for the Birthday wishes!!

I had a great day, which started like this! Lily (the dog) gave me a birthday kiss (licked my ear in fact) and then collapsed next to me, I guess you could call it a hug.
Image

I am going to add more to this later but I thought you might enjoy seeing part of my Birthday on Saturday. These are a few shots from when I went on my first flying lesson, this is an ambition of mine (to learn to fly) so this is the start of what I think, with my timetable, could take a couple of years.

It's weird, I think these shots look like they are from the menswear section of a clothing catalogue! you know the ones where all the men are laughing or staring into the distance looking chic.

I had a lovely day and I will add more detail later but I want to thank all my good friends here for your kind words and jokes. I guess this is where it all goes downhill! I promise not to give up without a fight though!
