Hi Ian

In England, Wales and France (my 2 bloodlines) are not the favourite countries of England LOL.

I love England though!

I have always felt an affinity with Spanish music, the Spanish people and their way of life.

Thanks for the info Ian. I think when we meet we will have much to discuss!

Yes the mythology is fascinating of Wales (and indeed all the British Isles) if you like stories of magic etc investigate Cornwall in England. It has a mysterious history of witches, magic and other similar folklore.

I actually enjoy tales of magic, seems a reality i wish would happen lol :P be interesting really, but another good place for witching history is Kings Lynn in Norfolk, i love that spot and i love Norfolk in general its a nice soothing place to be in (My grandparents on my dad's side live there)

as long as "shwing" isn't followed by a stoning (uh... with stones, that is...) or an old fashioned burning at the stake... then i'm cool with "shwing" LOL!

i would imagine. even my daughter has had friends named rhiannon and she's only 17. it's a beautiful name, though.

my daughter is named jessica nicole as a kind of way of naming her after jessi colter, who my father was a huge fan of.

*please see my "Barbie culture" post above... somewhere... i felt the same way... once you get past that, you find that you can make your body do amazing things... and it's totally the fountain of youth, most bellydancers look really, really young even when they are not. it's good for mind, body and spirit, which i think keeps you young. my instructor, Isis, is over 70 years old (i think 72) and this is her:

Ah, I found it after much searching! (The barbie post, that is).

Anyway, my weirdness about bellydancing didn't really stem because of the motions really...
(The following may sound strange, so...yeah)
I just wasn't (and still not) comfortable to myself in that [Boarat]zexual[/Boart] kinda way. And you may say that's not the point of bellydancing, it sure seems like it. Besides, I get chilled easily. I best like my life when I have a nice coat on.

it's not for everybody, i guess. i grew up in a very hot state, so i'm so used to bathing suits and cutoff jean shorts and the fact that bathing suit tops are "shirts" during the summer. lol. so the bellydacning "get-ups" don't really bother me... and not all bd costumes ore so revealing, there's several types... and you can ALWAYS wear harem pants under anything when you bellydance.

as for me? i've come to be very, very comfortable with my body in my older age. lol. and if something doesn't look so good, tattoo over it i say. *laughs*

hey, at least no one can say you didn't try it, though...

Hey... I may be a little late here, but when Barbara invited me to go out to the Lebanise place with the belly dancers last week - I thought she said Lesbian Bellydancers! It was totally different than what I was expecting. The food, however, was fantastic. Can't wait to go again.
