Oh and SHINE is another fav of mine as well. Very sad yet very uplifting. GREAT MOVIE!! :wink:
I remember that film P, old memories flooding back :lol:

another 2 films I love are

Peter Pan (the latest version)
Finding Neverland

I realise these sound stupid but these need to be seen in that order together. The second film is about how the stage play Peter Pan came to be written, it is very moving.

Finding Neverland is a great film. I wasn't sure if i'd like it before i watched it but i would thoroughly recomend it, a well made film by all acounts. Its also another exhibition of the talents of Johny Depp

I had to really fight the tears back as the film ended just to maintain that tough rugged male outward look. :lol: Great film and a real tear jerker, as well a a true story.

the film can be a bit hard going emotionaly, even sadder considering it is a true story...
:cry:

*regains rugged man look*

that aside it was an interesting insight into how one man challenged the conventions of theatre

I just got 3 new films. Borat, Miami Vice and The Last King Of Scotland.

Borat was fantastic and The Last King OfScotland too was great. I haven't finished Miani Vice yet but I am really enjoying it. Michale Mann is one of my favourite directors.
Having a break from online activity for a while to concentrate on music. Please email if you need to get in touch. Matt

OK!

I had to think very hard but here are a few more excellent films;

A beautiful mind
Ray (the life of Ray Charles)
American history X
Malcolm X
Cry Freedom
Enemy at the gates
Catch me if you can
The Aviator

I've just realised that all but one of these films is based on a true story. Quite a few from my original list are true too. I find that true stories make the best films.

here are some more crackers that i reccomend;
Goodnight and Goodluck
Midnight Cowboy
Blow Up (features a cameo from Jeff Beck)
Dr Strangelove
City Of God ( about the slums in Brazil, it'll probably put you off traveling to brazil for life)
