Re: Gibson's Top 50 Metal Songs
Wow Ozzy is in there so many times!! he must feel his career was worth while? some fantastic tunes fom great bands although i noticed that most of them are decades old now and it makes you wonder if the life of Rock music peaked long ago and we are now just seeing fade out slowly?
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

i think so ian...
Re: Gibson's Top 50 Metal Songs
I am always banging the drum for Bowie so why isn't 'Ziggy Stardust' in that list? the album 'The rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars' was considered the most influential album of the 1970's so why didn't he make the list?
Even our mutual hero RR copied Mick Ronsons Image and idolised him so 'The Spiders from Mars' have not missed the list because they were a different genre, that band was a rock band.

Re: Gibson's Top 50 Metal Songs
I noticed that aswell, all the tunes are old classic metal. Well a large percentage i think thats were the poll thing goes tits up. The NEW metal scene is a mad mixture of pop metal emo Black, Death metal need i list them all. Which the younger fans are cutting there teeth on. They are getting into the louder music by listening to bands like Greenday, Marilyn Manson, Metallica for example and then they are being introduced to classic vintage albums like Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Judas Priest etc. I forget how old i am, when your 45 and talking to a guy half your age. You forget that you have been into music for alot longer and are more experienced in taste and have heard more generations of music. So was that poll done at an old boys club for Gibson users ?.

Man, if metal heads love anything more than palm muting, guitar solos and double bass drums, it's LISTS!

Re: Gibson's Top 50 Metal Songs
Totally agree with you. They should call these sorts of lists: "Songs you like, but placed in a random order with numbers in front of them."
