Building a scale model Diary stage...

Post by whoopiecat »

A couple of years ago, I came across this stuff, which is really intended for D&D. I was looking to make something for my small gargoyle and came up with the following.
Some folks within the community had expressed interest in making their own scale model Diary stage, and this stuff would certainly fit the bill. The walls are 15" in length and 5" in height, give or take. The blocks/ pieces are made from stuff a couple of steps up from Plaster of Paris, put together with Titebond wood glue and painted in shades of Appel Barrell craft acrylics.

Some of the folks here have seen these on FB and encouraged me to post here and TK. I couldn't post the photos normally (bmp not allowed), so I had to use this method. I hope they come through ok.

I don't think anyone has made their own Diary stage, at least none that I've seen.
I wanted to show folks that this material looked great, was easy to use, (as the above was my first attempt ever) and fairly inexpensive.
I don't know where one would get a scale drumset to match, though.
