Long time no speak

Post by JustTakeAPebble »

Hi Guys

I am aware I have disapeared off the face of the earth recently but here I am, I am well, very well indeed just been so busy with university coursework and sorting things out it is indeed going well.

Heres some answers to questions you may ask.

How is the documentary going?

It is going well, I just need to find some more footage, so if you have any uncopyrighted footage, photographs you took yourself or films you have thats out of copyright or is amateur shot, PM me, I'd like to use some, though I wouldnt be able to pay you, I will credit you on the titles. I will be happy to have anything from photos or videos of Randy in action or footage from memorials and any footage of musiona. Matt, let me know how the music and also our interview is getting on? If no word has been said yet, don't worry I just hope he accepts.

Why did I disapear?

Busy with uni work, never knew I'd have to get so much done, after a few issues with people in uni I certianly still shine brightly, especially being told by a tutor "I see a professional writer in you" this being the tutor who has written for the BBC, Disney and many other networks for 40 years. I did have time to check in now and again and I apolegise to those who asked for the Glad All Over tab, I do have it, it is just a matter of getting chance to sit down properly and have time to scan the image in and send it off.

The floods in Cumbria seemed pretty bad, did it affect you?

Nah, only stranded in Carlisle for a good long time till my girlfriend's dad
picked me up and also wasnt able to go in to uni one day, the day I was editing a film fun eh? lol

Is it true I was abducted by martians?

No, this aint true, Although we could be all abducted and placed in a holographic enviroment and made to believe our reality we see, we smell and we hear are actually just the fine work of martian technology... okay I joke there ;)

How am I in general?

I am very well indeed just things seems on the up even when things try to drag me down.

Why are you interviewing yourself?

No idea, just thought it would be fun for people to hear what I got up to.

Great you're back Simon. Too many projects and just too little time. I know how you feel... 8)

Hi Simon

Great to have an update. In January my wife is buying an imac through the school as it is cheaper and only then can I do the video properly. I have started on some pieces, but I am afraid I have heard nothing from the guy you asked me about.
Most importantly I am glad you haven't suffered too much in wet Cumbria; you havge had it so bad there haven't you?

I am so proud, like many people to be a part of your film!

Hi Matt

Thanks for your kind words about being so proud, I am thrilled to make it for such a community. I hope
our friend will accept and as for Suzie getting you an Imac, that is cool, I own one myself and I never looked back.
It has come in handy for many things including editing the documentary.

I haven't had it bad where I live, but nearby theres been a bridge collapse, heavy flooding everywhere else.

How about you? How have you been my friend?

Hi ElectricAngel

Yeah, I just feel so full at the moment with everything cramming in. How are you? Whatya up to?

I have a question-
I am also getting a Boss micro BR mini 4 track recorder; I was thinking in theory I could film me doing a live concert; while also recording the sound on my portable 4 track; then when editing on the i mac, take the sound off from the camera and add the mp3 track from the Boss. Making a superior visual and sound than the camera can provide.

Have you done this and if so is it easy?

cheers in advance

Hi Matt

The only issue I could see here is synching, all I can say is try it, I have no experience with using a four track boss, what I think you could try is try it at home, experiment and see what happends.

Speaking of you and visuals, I've started to form a guerella film company as you know, so if you ever need a music video made Matt, I'm happy to do so, I mean it wasnt long ago I was thinking "I can see Matt playing an acoustic guitar, by an ocean"
