*creeps in* GUESS WHO'S BACK??!!

Post by siro_angel »

Sorry lol.. I'm in a hyper mood and ill tell you why in a sec.. first the progress on granddad..

Granddad though is alive, deteriated rapidly today, he was in a lot of the pain, no thanks to the nurse who gave him a laxative when he has nothing to (excuse the expression) poop out, he is on drinks most of the time now...

Needless to say, through all the pain, he always has his family around him, which even though it tires him out.. he knows he's looked after.

As for the reason to why I'm hyper.. well lets list them..

1) Bob Daisley has replied to my email and said he'll will be sending me an autograph next week, :) It was enough to make me feel better, I would have asked him questions, but I didnt want to bother him too much so I told him about how he is an amazing bass player (which he is dontcha think?) and its great to see him back in action with lee kerslake, and I said i hoped he is having a good year, etc lol I'm not gunna dribble on.. so yeah :)

2) I just had a cup of tea.. ok this didnt get me hyper more perked me up from sleeping in the car all day (the journey back i find is very tiring..)

3) I'm back home, though its good to be at granddads side, I still cant be at his side all the time.

4) I went into Manchester city centre to watch te chinese new year celebrations :D :D :D

Good job on everything.

Bob Daisley's autograph
Nice.. :D

Why don't you ask him to join this forum, I mean.. I think every artist who worked with Randy should be a member because there are only a few RR forums around.

I would love to see Daisley here, and Rudy Sarzo too :)
Oh and Lee Kerslake and Tommy Aldridge :D

BTW; Did you see that Tommy Aldridge solo on youtube? HE IS A DRUM MACHINE BEAST

I'll invite Bob Daisley in my next email to this forum :)

I hope he replies on my current email, I've asked him some things about Randy Rhoads.

Go BoB!

speaking of Aldridge. I met him a few years ago in Deep Ellum at the Galaxy Club, he was playing drums for Thin Lizzy  Then later, I met him in Las Vegas at one of the Station Casinos. He was a really cool guy both times. I didn't have a chance to ask any really probing Rhoads questions, and I probably wouldn't have even if I had the chance, other than maybe "it must have been amazing to play with randy"

now email would be a totally different story. But for some reason, when you are standing there face to face with someone, it feels invasive to ask a bunch of questions.
