Hi

What format do you have the 2/9/82 - Kalamazoo, MI show in ?
I've been looking for this show for some time & have only found it in MP3 formt and it sound's horrible :? So i have been trying to find a good version in lossless of it.

I live about an hour away from that stadium and have seen ton's of killer show's there but unfortunately missed this one

Are you upping them or are you trading by SM ?

Peace

I'm sorry to say that I only have mp3 formats for all of the shows I have. I thought that awhile back someone was posting flac based shows, but can't remember who it was.

I'd hazard a guess that nearly all the bootleg shows have been posted in .mp3 format at some point, as the "lossless" stuff wasn't a big deal until the last couple years. So finding flac copies would have to come from collectors with the shows on cassette. Nearly all the cassette shows are multiple generations old as well...

MP3 format shows can be cleaned up considerably with software such as Cool Edit Pro and Adobe Audition. I have improved the quality of many shows at least 10-fold. It takes some time, but if you really want to hear better quality shows, it's worth the effort. Once the shows have been fixed up, they can be saved in lossless format for future generations.

Sorry if I sound rude at all, but I get tired of people who won't accept .mp3 copies of boots. That format, as I said, can be improved upon greatly. I just feel that there are a LOT of lazy folks out there who want someone else to do the work for them.

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone here, I'm just talking in general.

I am always happy to get a show I don't already have so format is not a problem to me. I think it seems to have become something that people have latched onto in the past few years.
Get the new show listen to it , love it and then file it away :)
