Lovely shot and from a nice angle.
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

I've just noticed Lindsay Bridgewater's keyboard's behind Bob. So this must of been a rare appearence for him to be on stage. He would be behind the PA or hidding in the wings somewhere off stage. Just coming out for the intro to Mr Crowley etc.
Re: New Blizzard UK 1980 photo
Good eye! I didn't see that.
Re: New Blizzard UK 1980 photo
bob daisley had told me that the EP mr crowley, you said it all was recorded at the
oxford show,he also said that in the am hours on that day that he and randy
worked out this song "you said it all" and in afternoon woke up ozzy who was
sleep/drunk on drum risers to show him the song,he devolped the melody-words by bob,and then recorded it that night in oxford. no bs.

I thought the track was recorded in the afternoon with no audience and they then recorded the track with a live audience at the show that night. It was only ever played at the one show if my memory is correct.amherst wrote:bob daisley had told me that the EP mr crowley, you said it all was recorded at the

i really don't think it was another "after hours" kind of performance
Re: New Blizzard UK 1980 photo
No,they had added in the Crowd Noise afterwards!!
Im gonna Look & see if I cant find a Link to whichever interview Bob had mentioned this.I know I have read it,but I think he was asked about that in one of the audio interviews.
I will Look & then post a link/
Okay Found It!!! Its About 4 1/2 Mins in where he begins on You Said It All & YLAMLAY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koGxYmSItSM&NR=1
6 Mins is where he talks about the Writing/Recording of You Said it All
Pretty Cool (He actually doesnt go into too great detail about the recording itself,I have to be thinking of Another, different Interview...I'll find it

Hi Bob,
Dont worry, anyone who knows anything realises how important your contributions were to Ozzys solo albums. Its just plain sick that they went and re recorded the tracks. I have a question that I am not sure was answered before if so i apologise, but can u give some info on the song "you said it all" on the live pic disc? was it live or was it a studio recording with audience sounds added? why wasnt it used? there are a bunch of us who really want to know. Thanks for everything and hope you are doing great.

Hi Paul, that song was written and recorded during our first UK Blizzard of Ozz tour in 1980. Because it was new and Ozzy had to read my lyrics from a sheet of paper, the song was recorded live before the show and before the audience arrived and the audience from that night was added later. It was written by Randy, Lee and me during afternoon sound check while Ozzy was asleep, drunk under the drum riser. The whole story is in my forthcoming book, which I hope to have finished this year. Cheers, Bob.
