That's awesome. A little more but sadly not enough. Maybe we'll get to heat the lot in our lifetime? Or maybe not...

Thank you for posting.

Oh so it seems that Lee has the basic vocal melody down. I am becoming even more convinced that Bobs tapes might show that Ozzy had fuck all to do with song development.

I really wish there would be a way for Bob to get all that stuff released...

Regardless of Ozzy's contribution to the making of any of his albums. If it was not for him being who he is that product would never have happened non of the classic albums.

I more curious with whom Bob leaves this stuff to when he passes away. Did Bob have kids or even ever a wife? That info seems non-existent.

Whomever he leaves it to likely won't have the same stance as he does regarding its worth. The Osbournes would probably pay twice as much as they offered Bob just to give him another slap in the face while in the grave :D

As far as Ozzy, everyone knows he cannot write, but he is praised throughout the industry for coming up with great melodies. Just because Lee came up with this melody doesn't prove anything really. And just because Lee is singing here doesn't mean he is the the one who came up with it, we have to go on Bob's word with that. Lee could have very easily heard it from Ozzy at some point.

I agree with ya. Ozzy had the voice that made it all work. The annunciation and tone, along with his charisma is a big plus to those songs.

It's like, you take two guitar players and have them play the same riff. While the notes of the riff are the same, that riff coming from one player may sound so much better than the other. It's the "x" factor.

That recording is just epic. Lee... not only a great drummer... but had great harmony in his head too. Ozzy shaped the song, but these guys laid down such a massive foundation for Ozzy's solo career. Without them, who knows where OZ would be?
