remember this old quote?

Post by LongRhoadsAhead »

i was looking around in some old posts from 2006 and i saw i think dutchamn (don't hold me to that) said that $haron had said

"We are sitting on tons of stuff we can't use...."

anyone remember when she said that? i'm a bit confused.

ps. Happy Holidays!

from what i've heard, the rhoads family and the osbournes are pretty good friends. the osbournes come visit and have lunch at kathy's winery a lot.

maybe so, but still it doesn't change the fact that when Delores ultimately passes, someone else
will be left in charge of Randys legacy and maybe that someone won't be so over-protective?

that is a great point. i can't blame delores though. she doesn't care about the rockstar randy rhoads, she cares about her son randy rhoads. and after being screwed so much, i don't blame her for being over protective, but my guess is once she passes, we may see some ozzy era stuff, more qr stuff and maybe even home videos. that'd be cool. happy holidays to you, and everyone else!

Pretty strange that there's more Quiet Riot footage than Ozzy footage w/ Randy.
Quiet Riot was no more than a local LA-band when Randy was there.

If too much more time passes before the stuff is heard and seen, then fewer people will care anymore. The time NOW, infact well overdue, to release EVERYTHING!! The memory of her son is only diminshed by hiding his accomplishments.

Well, we did get the Randy Rhoads book & also the Quiet Riot book/DVD recently so at least that's a great start.
I really can't see that there is too much more that could be released after "the passing of the guard" anyway... Maybe the two QR albums would be released & possibly something OZZY is sitting on? I dread if it would mean an onslaught of official RR coffee mugs & iphone covers...
