I Have A Few Rhoads' Questions...

Post by RRFAN123456789 »

1. Did Randy play bass

2. If he did what basses did he own

3. Did Randy have a Black Les Paul

4. Did Randy have any kind of Fender Stratocaster, or Telecaster

5. In Rudy's book, it mentions that Randy's things taken off of the bus on 3-19-1982 were a microcassette recorder, and an acoustic guitar. Have these tapes ever surfaced???

Thanks for your time. All answers will be appreciated.
RIP

1. He taught Kelly Garni to play bass so he knew his way around it :)
2. Not sure if he actually owned one.
3,4. Possibly. There are pictures of him playing both a Black Beauty LP
and a stray. Haven't heard anything about a Tele though ...
5. As far as I know ... No :(

1. He Played Bass as it says so on QR RR Years CD booklet
2. IDK
3. He had a black beauty but not for long. In an Interview Delores said he only really had it for the photo shoot and never really got to use it
4. He had Strats. He said he really wanted vintage ones and there is a store, don't remember which, that has record of him buying 3 vintage strats during 80 or 81. He said he liked them, but were too thin for a single lead guitar.
5. IDK

Say what? ...and he was a fan of Gary Moore too and Gary had,
by no means a thin strat sound. But on the other hand, he used
thickass strings whereas Randy ... not so much 8)
