new info on 30th anniversary editions

Post by jasonmusicman »

Hi all.
Just been doing some searching on amazon and it seems that the the albums will be available in the us on october the 19th and will cost $40 heres the link below.

http://www.amazon.com/Blizzard-30th-Ann ... 758&sr=8-1
http://www.amazon.com/Diary-Madman-30th ... 126&sr=8-3

They are import albums that you can pre order. they dont give any details other than price and date but its a little bit closer to understanding whats happening.

So these are being released as 2 separate items ? I thought they would of put them both out together as a package ?. The week before my birthday should make me a nice present.

Thanks, Jas...It'd be cool if Sharon gave up some sort of info. Maybe once Ozzfest is done, the focus may turn to this.

Kinda misleading title... but It says those are imports, so it's probably the same thing as what they're getting in japan...I'll just wait for the US release 8)

I hope they are much cheaper when they come out in the US. I mean, $70 for the legacy BOO? (I think that's about the price) That's a little ridiculous if you ask me. (Unless it's stock full of unreleased goodies, which is possible as it's supposed to be 2 cd's)

I would rather wait until it comes to the US and the price goes down.

I dont understand, if these DO have unreleased Randy material, why they arent hyping the shit out of it. To be honest, I dont think we're gonna get much on these releases. But I hope to be wrong.

These imports from Amazon are most likely the same Japanese pre-orders on CD Japan. These are just the CDs and not the boxed-set, which is supposed to be released in November. I'm assuming the U.S. versions will be released at the same time as the boxed-set.

these "legacy" editions are looking to be nothing more than the original tracks remastered in fancy packaging. As far as the "boxset", i wouldn't get too excited at this point as there is absolutely NOTHING verifying a "boxset" is even in the works or any verification/proof of any video of any kind other than a two-sentence dribble from Sharon O. (which could be complete bull....).
As of now, i'm going to hope for the best, but i'm getting the feeling that nothing is on the horizon.
