Where is this video/documentary from? (Peter Margolis)
This was uploaded yesterday by someone. Is this leaked from the Dakota documentary or originate from somewhere else?

Awesome link!!! I've never heard this before. Randy is such a kick-ass player and you could tell he really wanted to teach his students too. I wish I could download this.

Yep, I had seen that someone stated the same thing in the comments. Looks to be legit when you look up the credits for 2012 Quiot Riot Randy Rhoads DVDLongRhoadsAhead wrote:wait, scratch that. I think it's from the ron sobol doc. the quiet riot years.

On a side note Margolis has that serial killer look to him . Dude looks like petrified wood in front of the camera.

That's a great clip. With the tape audio and Peter talking about it, creates a great visual.

Not sure, probably something like this.
Kelle: Hey Randy, lets see who can grow out their nails the longest.
Randy: ok

In the time I haven't been posting much my love of his playing hasn't dimmed, and I largely don't really care much about his private life because that was his business and it was only our business to enjoy what he could play, because that was his product.
The same goes for Bowie, I'm a huge Bowie fan and before and since his death I remain totally uninterested in knowing about his life but I want all the audio so I can enjoy all the nuances of his style shifts.
With RR we had less music just a about 6 active years which leaves us with 4 studio albums, about 2 albums worth of demos and a small but sizeable amount of Boot shows.
Part of the issue with anything new was a controling family and the O's, and as time has gone on the chances of anything new has got mush less possible. Our best hope is for the release of the the Southampton 1980 show. For me that is the most plausible treat we will get.
Looking back at the debacle of the Doc it was a shambles from the start with the forums being played off against us and some people using the potential the Doc brought to further their own interests. Do you remember the 'official RR site' and who was chosen to run it and how the whole community of fans was turned on to wrestle control? Everything that went with that Doc became divisive and in the end it seemed that what ever we saw of RR was going to be sanitised by the R's to promote a pointless story! One that missed out the darker side of Randy and concentrated on the perfect RR, none of us are perfect and in the past I have had moments of been a total dick! We all have.
