i watched the wrestler last night and the dude in the movie came out to the ring with METAL HEALTH (BANG YOUR HEAD) but it wasn't the version we all know. Kind of sounded like a demo version. Is anyone aware of where the version the movie used is from?
Thanks,
Josh

It could have been a cover of the song, a live version, or a remixed version. You may be right about the demo thing. But then again how would the producers get ahold of a demo of the song and why would they use that instead of the original. I have seen the movie but that was a while back. I don't really remember hearing metal heath on the movie let alone remember the movie. I'll let you know what when I find out...

Its def QR and its not live. It just sounds less polished than the version we all know. Keep me posted if you learn anything.

I just googled the soundtrack. Its the lead track on the album its titled BANG YOUR HEAD (2006) so i guess its a re-recorded version. That would have been around the Rehab era not long before Kevin died. Also would mean that its not Carlos and Rudy on the track. Likely the Rehab lineup. interesting.

Yup that's it! Just as I thought. I think it was on their greatest hit album

Well, Rudy never played on the original anyway. I think it's the original track with new vocals for some reason.
