It's sad that this has happened. I never thought of Kevin as a "jackass" or anything like that. I think it's that a lot of people want to be surrounded by a bunch of YES MEN. He was definately not one of those. It's a shame.

"Thunderbird" as recorded by
Quiet Riot
Hello you Yes it's me You can come back Flying free
You think you've found everything that you need
Fly away Fly away To your new home across the sea
Leave your nest Baby Leave the best thing that you've been
Fly off Thunderbird Fly, Fly off Spread your wings to the sky
Fly off Thunderbird Fly
On your own, And I'm alone in the shadow of what we've done
And I can't help but think That some day you'll be back home
Fly away, fly away, to your new home across the bay
Leave your nest, oh baby leave the best thing that you've been
When all is said, all is done, Still I live and carry on
Don't look back but think of me We'll meet again Fly away, Oh-Oh
Fly off Thunderbird Fly, Fly off Spread your wings through the sky
Fly off Thunderbird Fly
Fly off Thunderbird Fly, you've got to fly away
Fly off Spread your wings through the sky, up to the sky
Fly off Thunderbird Fly
That lyric line "Fly away Fly away To your new home across the sea" is very touching.

If you saw Kevin Dubrow perform live, keep that image in your mind. That is the one tribute that can never "fly away"...

This came as a big surprise to me and again we mourn the loss of another rock star climbing the stairway to heaven..Has it officialy been mentioned how Kevin died ...This is a bit of a sensitive issue and i don't mean to sound so morbid..But did he take his own life ? as i had read something about him having depression then he was in a good party mood during his birthday a few weeks ago ? My regards go out to all his family and friends ..

I think the cause of Kevin's passing will only be known at the inquest, Sadly for us all here another link to the life of the great Randy Rhoads has slipped away.

Those are some pretty wonderful pix of the early "root" formation of QUIET RIOT & the later yrs photo of their outrageous frontman Kevin DeBrow (wearing those Classic Rhoads dots!)/I'm sorry to hear that his passed on and much condolences to the DuBrow Family in their time of deep sorrow. God Bless.
The legendary Randy Rhoads is an electric "Crazy Train" Guitarist/Musician to the max!

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Nothing good ever came from using cocaine.

This seems to be the celebrity way :? I am sad that this was a drug related passing. I hope however he is at peace.

I think it's sad that some people can't shake the drugs. From what I read, Kevin was really anti drugs, then got into drugs, then went really clean again. It's very sad that he fell off the wagon and had to go like this.
While I never liked him or any of the music he did, I don't think anyone should die alone in their house after doing lines of cocaine all by themselves. :(
