Also for better moving between the forums it would be nice to have the Board index <subforum> <topic> at the bottom as well. Now after reading down page one have to scroll all the way up to the top to click on the board index to go to another forum.
(the "board index" to me works quicker than the "jump to" option at the bottom)
Electric Angel, I like some of those ideas, let me have a think how they can be realistically (The music player especially) implemented and I'll get back to you.

Right below the banner, at left under the red buttons, you can see "Board index ‹ Forum Info ‹ Update"

1) I've noticed that while the PM button does tell you have a new message it doesn't really grab you. That is, the color of the "orange" box stays the same. Is there any way to get the color of the box to change when a PM comes into the inbox. I liked it when the "pop up" window would appear after I logged in. That was a great attention getter.
2) On some sites there is a cover page to introduce you to a site. Go to Michael Schenker's site if you want to know what I mean. Does anyone want a WELCOME page?
