Amp question

Post by Nick »

I recently bought a bugera 1960 amp head and it pretty much is a plexi clone, it comes standard with a RR cascade mod, what I would like to know is if there are any products out there that will allow me to use headphones instead of a speaker cab( my neighbors complain that it's too loud sometime).......

I understand that this amp was built to use a cab but I can't get the tone I want at renasable volumes, I have done some research around the web and people have said use a Dummy load but I dont quiet understand much about them and I would not like making a mistake buying the wrong one.

Does any body have any ideas thank you.

By dummy load, they mean something like a power break.

Maybe use a rack effect so control the volume, that way you can crank the actual amp to get the tubes saturated, then control it with the rack effect or something similar. I use the GSP1101..decent cost, versatile, etc..
