Ultimate Rhoads

My wife is quite a Randy Rhoads-fan too, but she has never for Quiet Riot that much. So, as there's no Ozzy-stuff, she's not interested. Well, she thinks Ozzy's a lousy singer!!! and that the only good thing he had, was being in Blizzard Of Ozz oh well.

No-one is truly keeping up Randy's legacy or promoting his name in any substantial way Osbournes never release anything properly, just bits and pieces. Rhoads-family never puts anything out. All that stuff should be put out when there's still people interested in his playing....

It looks friggin' good!!! Really makes me wish I had one!!! Well, I will build my own,-with the pedals that I have acquired!!! Mainly from 1979-1985

Will get them for sure!!! Hopefully they can improve the sound a bit. But originals sound okey too.

Well, it has been uploaded before. So, it's not new but maybe not too common either.

I've never heard about anyone else building that pedalboard :shock: It would have been great if Randy had that pedalboard with him at his seminar that was recorded and would have explained some details about it... Also info on how he chose his pedals etc. Well, maybe we'll never know. Unless we ask ...

So, Stuart Hopkins was a guitar tech, right. I guess Pete Mertons came on board after Bob and Lee were sacked and Osbournes took over? I don't remember if Bob tells about in his book...

I don't recall where Randy ordered his pedalboard from I think Bob mentioned in his book about the pedalboard being delivered to Cleawater Castle, I think.
I cannot check 'cos I don't have that book handy.

I wouldn't mind having a pedalboard like that!
So, if you're going for reproduction at some point, keep us informed! Tho' I have quite a lot of stuff, so I will have to make some room!!!

I'm glad we had him, even if his time here was so brief. His influence is all the more important and his legacy continues to inspire people. Rest in peace Randy Rhoads.

I have now collected some guitar pedals from the past; Ibanez flanger (1980), Ibanez Delay III (1985) and also guitar-synth Boss SY-1 etc.

I was also thinking how did Pete tune Randy's guitars if he didn't play himself... Maybe just tuned them with tuners...
