I just now saw this episode! I, too, thought they were comparing two things that did not match in context. The audience seemed to lean towards Randy's side. It was kind of neat to turn on a tv today and hear people throwing out their opinions of him.

It's as good a reason as any, to have stopped that auction, that is. I remember that the piece he sold had two pictures of Randy matted in with the post card. Do you know if the scan in that Marshall booklet was from before Kevin sold it? Or was that whole thing taken apart and done (reasonably) rec...

I was re-reading this here post where it was said: Yes, Kevin was the seller, and it took place around the fall of 2003, I believe. I'm not sure what happened with the first auction, and I can't remember what it sold for at the second one (assuming it did sell). Maybe someone else will remember the ...

I didn't do anything to the post card. That's the size of the scan Kevin sent me back when he first put it up for auction on ebay. At the time, he didn't want people having clear scans of it because (obviously) he was trying to sell it. I'm still amazed at how acurate the translation was off that cr...

OK, I'm not trying to be an ass on this, just that the translation was exact except for one word. (My God, has it come to this Randy?) Yes, unfortunately, it has, I'm even talking to myself. Just the omission of the word "often" and it's perfect. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r184/pep...

Can you imbed that into this page so you can listen to it - and read it at the same time?

I would imagine that they'd almost HAVE to have played some Sabbath tunes. Even just to get the thing going. That would be pretty cool to hear him playing some Sabbath stuff (or anything) other than those three stinkin' songs they played.

About 11,000 or 12,000 people should have thrown in a dollar. Then who ever gets it just copies it 10,999 or 11,999 times so we all can have one.

Binghamton 13 Jan 1984 ( Ozzy kicks this show off with Crazy train and puts I Don't Know after Iron Man) This was the night before they played in Glens Falls, NY. I remembered that show because (in Glens Falls) they also started off the set with Crazy Train. I always thought that was odd. I'd been g...

That's right! I remember now. It was one channel playing in a warehouse (or something). That was a dissappointment.

Darrin, did you just call me a "de-bunker"? I don't know if I should be offended or not. Wasn't the OTM demo the one that sounded like someone was playing the cd in a warehouse? Recorded that... said it was something new?

It's kind of like they took the NTSB sketch and colored it and cartoon-ified it.

Yes, Cartoon-ified is actually a word.

They played those Texas shows in February. They even did a Texas tour shirt 'cause they were here for over a week. Houston is most likely the Minneapolis show. The New York show was a Bernie Torme show and the Atlanta has been around since the 80's and that's the Bat's Head Soup aka Cleveland aka Tr...
