Re: Progress on the Concorde!!!

I just got my hands on a brass NOS bridge for my Chinese Concorde. I feel like I remember Dino had a similar issue with his. But the block doesn't fit correctly, and I don't think the screw holes are going to match up too well either. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this, and if you had any...

Re: Randy rhoads live tone on new marshall code amp

Oh I will agree also it sounds more like the studio than live tone as well. As far as the effects loop, even if it had one you would still want to run the distortion in the front of the amp instead of the loop. Really the only thing you want in the loop is modulation and delays and even that is deba...

Re: Randy rhoads live tone on new marshall code amp

Doesn't sound close to me at all, just has that fuzz sound that the mxr gave but just different. Recommendation just by the script logo mxr distortions plus reissue if he wants the sound. Just my opinion though. :D You can use pedals with this amp but he Didn't have any at the time of making the vi...

Randy rhoads live tone on new marshall code amp

So I have helped this guy with Randy's live amp settings as well as his MXR 10 band EQ so that he could see if the Marshall code (marshalls new modeling amp) could come close to Randy's sound live.

What do you guys think??

I think it comes close

Re: Jackson Concorde Parts List?

Hey guys, a while back (I think it was posted here some where) someone posted a complete parts list to Randy's Jackson Concorde? I remember it had brands and certain specs down to his trem unit to the vol/tone pots. But, I can't seem to track it down again. I think it might have been posted a long ...

Re: Interesting info about a RR un-released jam track

Nah, Ozzy is winding down now, clearly he is done with Sabbath. Anything Rhoads related that was going to be released would've been released a long long time ago besides she doesn't have anything to release worth while anyway that much is obvious. It's not like she needs the money either. That's wh...

Re: Sandoval Polka Dot V Copies

GMW makes amaing quality guitars for the price I wish at the time I could have gone that route but I couldn't afford much at the time, I will in the future get one from them, maybe a red with white dots or white with black dots. From what I have seen the case is custome and superb quality which is ...

Re: Sandoval Polka Dot V Copies

I appreciate the offer, man! I may eventually order a Concord from there, but for the PDV I'm gonna go with GMW....like I should have done in the first place. Dealing with Tim has been nothing but a monumental pain in the ass! I don't know what you guys who've ordered the "zoesandra" ebay...

Re: Sandoval Polka Dot V Copies

I don't know what you guys who've ordered the "zoesandra" ebay cheapy got, but what I got was royally SCREWED. I got the guitar in last week and it is an unmitigated piece of s#!t to put it mildly. I keep hearing everyone say "well, you get what you pay for" but the thing is... ...

Re: Randy and Dean Guitars

I guess it is good that this happened, otherwise we might be seeing Randy's name pimped as they've been doing with Dime's since his passing. Doesn't Jackson do that? lol Not to the same degree, of course, but there are plenty of RR Jackson guitars out there. Even some weird stuff (Roswell Jackson, ...

Re: Fuel for the fire?

Actually,I pop in all the time. I've been working on some Randy related stuff. This one in particular. I never liked the logo's on the original (and especially the flubbed backward pic of his guitars). I do not take credit to the back photo's other than the ajusted layout, the Cow Palace shot (also ...
