Alexi can play for sure, but I never could get into the keyboards really.

Alexi is a huge Randy/Zakk fan btw!

Can you spot the BLS influence in that first song?

This is how he has his beard now, by the way. The braids makes it a lot more clean looking.

They sure did. You can just imagine Zakk's reaction to the whole thing.

He talks about it there.

I would guess it started a bit when his record company told him to look more like Fred Durst, or atleast around that same time. It's a statement, that all that matters, is the music. This is late 2000. http://deege2.free.fr/pix/7-3-00/P0000803.jpg This is mid 2001. http://deege2.free.fr/pix/bls/ozzf...

All his really good stuff, is on the old albums. Shame production is crap on most of the songs though. Ruins it, really. That's why I prefer the live stuff. Anyway, from each album, I'd recommend you to listen to: Spoke in the Wheel, Hey You, Born to Lose, The Beginning... at last (Sonic Brew) Count...

"I think Zakk is good but I will always prefer Randy." When you say "will never be", it means you'd have to compare them (turn it into a competition), and when it comes to guitar, I don't do that! Yes, I prefer X over X aswell, but that's all I do - prefer . I prefer vanilla ove...

I beg to differ. Have you ever seen him live?

Seen him two times with BLS, once with Ozzy plus 4 dvds and 3 live albums, and I think it's live where he really shines.

Paul, I see your point, I just do not agree. It wasn't until Zakk was a bit older that he was introduced to Lynyrd Skynyrd and the likes. Just like Randy, Zakk came from a classical background, but stuck to pentatonics for a reason, y'know. He never plays his Randy guitars with Ozzy, either. I too a...
