Re: Reply from Kathy about footage
Uhhh…the guys been dead 39 years. Why on earth would anyone ‘hold back’ anything at this point? You need to find some new bad guys to pile on. There is nothing ‘there’. Dislike what I say, badmouth all you like, it’s the sad truth.

Re: Reply from Kathy about footage
I cannot answer to the museum question. As the family is continually besieged by fans, I have taken to leaving them alone. I can tell you this much, they are not sitting on a treasure trove of Randys work…video or otherwise.

Re: Reply from Kathy about footage
“I’m not a fan of the family, but they’ve always said they owe the fans nothing.” -G.I. I want to see the quote(s) where this was actually put forth. It does not exist. Kathy has struggled in the past with properly presenting Randy’s legacy. MY reply to her was this- “there are those who will never ...

Re: New video?!
Now that I’ve actually watched the videos, I realize the “bleachers” are a drum riser. They still served well as spectator seats.

Re: New video?!
To add to Shawns post, the rehearsal studio was in Burbank on Front Street. Randy invited me to a rehearsal where I met Rudy, who had just joined Quiet Riot. There were bleachers which you can make out in the mirror. That’s where I sat and watched Kevin critique and instruct Randy Rhoads. *correctio...

Re: pictures of Randy's pedalboard
1. Makes sense. Randy told me to set my dist+ (both knobs) at 10:00.
4. Randy used his Echoplex more extensively with Quiet Riot, I think.
5. Randy kept his Fender Harvard at home. This is the amp he auditioned for Ozzy with
Although many have heard it, this early interview further demonstrates that BOO was originally a band and not an Ozzy solo project with backup musicians. Oz sounds enjoyably coherent here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=464&v=4KxV5ec00do
Ran...

Re: Ozzy and Randy when they created The band!
If memory serves, the story of Bob Daisley meeting Randy at the train station was printed in the Guitar Player Nov ‘82 edition. There are interviews with multiple people sharing their memories of Randy. I no longer have the magazine, but perhaps someone else could verify that encounter.
