God Bless Ozzy Osbourne - 8/24 & 29

In theaters Wednesday, August 24th and Monday, August 29th in the U.S. For those of us here, perhaps even a remote chance of new & different, or enhanced RR footage? I wouldn't expect anything jaw dropping, but maybe snippets of new stuff...we'll see, and if there's anything new or different it ...

Re: NEW DIARY OF A MADMAN BOXSET INFORMATION

Many folks have said things to the effect that parts of the live disk seem out of joint. How about downloading the entire disk to Pro Tools as one file, then identifying background / crowd noise when audible or in between songs by sound frequencies and identifying where the sound floor is lower or h...

Re: unanswered questions : Live footage etc

Where there's smoke, there's fire. I think we've heard enough from semi-reliable sources to understand that there IS more footage out there. Whether it will ever be shared with fans and the record buying public is another thing entirely. I wonder if some of the board members here could unite as a gr...

Re: ZAKK WYLDE: The Best Thing For RANDY RHOADS Was Hookin'

I love the guitar tone on DOAM and the moodiness and frenzy of Randy's playing; the icing on the cake is the title track opus - AMAZING composition. I think the album being rushed shows up in the Believer solo (which has pieces of Mr. Crowley's solo in it) and the absence of a composed solo (only a ...

Re: Over the Mountain - Stryper

Both vocalist / guitarist Michael Sweet and guitarist Oz Fox were very influenced by Randy Rhoads - both played Jackson's early on, Mike the Rhoads model and Oz a Soloist. I'm friendly with Mike (he lives out here in MA) and he let me mess around with his Rhoads once - said it never went out of tune...

Re: My last post about the crash.

I love your logic and your reasoning...a lot of it makes a lot of sense. Thanks for your thought on this subject and for posting. Yes, sadly, it won't change anything but some of us still wonder "how" and "why" despite the terrible outcome.

Goodbye To Romance isolated guitar tracks???

So, the expanded Blizzard has just Ozzy singing with Randy's backing guitars on Goodbye to Romance...has anyone taken a crack at eliminating Ozzy's vocals and posting an MP3 file so we can add another Blizzard song to our inventory with only Randy's isolated guitar tracks? If no one has, does anyone...

Crazy Train isolated guitar track MP3?

I'm sure this topic has been covered, but does anyone know where I can download an MP3 copy of this and Mr. Crowley from the Guitar Hero game? Thanks, and apologies for asking - I tried using the search function and just couldn't get to a good source that worked or had a full download that wasn't cu...

Re: Boxset availability

I bet if it was available at Walmart you'd probably be paying $119.99 for it. Newbury Comics (in the Boston area) has it for $129.99. Who wouldn't want to save money?

Re: New Guitar World Randy Cover

I was watching the kids this past weekend and thought, let's go to Walmart and see if the July Guitar World is available yet - of course, telling the kids, "lets go look at some toys!" I found the magazine and slowly wheeled them in their carriage to the toy aisle...then pretty much ignore...

Re: Talk about boxset here-Not for the faint at heart

I'm in a position where I can't necessarily afford the box set right now, but it's been loads of fun hearing everyone discuss it. I will buy the Blizzard Expanded and Diary Legacy CD's, but now am holding off after hearing about the audio glitch at the end of "Dee", mainly because my '95 m...

Re: Which performances are on the Live CD?

Has anyone else noticed during Believer, Ozzy sings the line "speculation of the wise" not once, not twice, but in all three verses? Aside from that, his voice does sound great. :D ~T. Makes me wonder actually how much they messed with Ozzy's vocals (besides some EQ & FX) if t...

Re: radio dj King Buisket Flower Hour record

So, following up on this, it seems obvious now that what will be on the "Ozzy Live" CD is most likely a collection of unreleased live songs recorded on the first U.S. Blizzard of Ozz Tour. They are probably putting on the best versions of the songs listed from the unreleased professionally...

Re: Crazy Train - From Boxset !!!

It is "After Hours" - the entire "Crazy Train" song interrupted by a 30 second commentary on the song by Steve Vai. For me, it was just great seeing how Randy played some of those licks and fills with the clarity of the video. He just played so effortlessly, even though his techn...
