Re: Ozzy Death

Easy to be a know-it-all keyboard warrior and spout your negativity on how it all should have been. Dude Ozzy was involved in making some amazing music but there is no need to sugarcoat it. He ripped people off, financially and creatively . There is no know it all keyboard warrior bullshit about it.

Ozzy Death

Seems that Ozzy has died today. That is crazy close to his last gig. The three Randy albums, if we include tribute, are by far his best work. It is a shame that his awful business decisions have really tainted his image in my opinion.

Tommy Aldridge Tells All "I was there"

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED THE DAY RANDY RHOADS DIED - Tommy Aldridge Tells All "I was there"

An interesting listen, there are a couple things that seem odd in this interview but it still is a good listen.

Re: Quiet Riot 1979

I can not remember the exact price but I can remember thinking that it was absurd. Funny though, the one for sale on reverb now, like I thought the seller is saying that they have every only taken it out of the case for photos.

Re: Quiet Riot 1979

Remember when they did the limited run of the concord, I could not believe the price of those things. I always wonder if the people that bought them played them or at that price are they more like art pieces.

Re: Quiet Riot 1979

I hate to say it but I think the cream Les Paul is the guitar I think of when I hear Randy. The black Jackson is the one I used want but times have changed.

Working on Randy Rhoads' Guitars with Jim DeCola

This is an interesting story that I have never heard before. Goes into how he did work on the tremolo's to keep them in tune.

How much Ozzy and Sharon paid Randy Rhoads

This is a retelling of the history that most people will know by now, I did find it an interesting watch though.

It is such a shame that he died so young, his playing is simply awesome.

Re: 1980 Postcard last date of the tour

Thank you for posting, it seems surreal to be reading post cards like this from way back in the day. Just shows the unstoppable march of time, Randy's gone even the buildings gone...
