it's one of my personal collection given to me by the Phx bros that Fred got hold of and posted on the rr.us site. Then he went and put his name on the photos . I posted the original photos here in an old thread. Someone on RR facebook was saying it was a show from 81, in Ny.. crazy how inaccurate ...

Randy used Fender Mediums. I don't ever recall Randy's name being on it unless it was one that they reproduced within the last decade or so.

Looks like he's wearing the same clothes as the shots backstage earlier that night too, cool shot!

I believe you're right Tito. I think I heard/saw a interview with Randy saying he would just roll the guitar volume or just use the foot volume

I think the best is from Feb. 9th, 1982 in Kalamazoo, MI. Other from that the one from Milwaukee I believe on Jan. 22 is a good sounding one as well

I'm not gonna get wrapped up in the religious part as I am as well, but these photographers are trying to make a living just like you and me, by selling their photos they took and own, to make their money fairly.

Never heard of Mike Smalt, but I wouldn't doubt it. There are some guys that have tons of Randy photos in their collection but may not put them out due to copyright reasons
