Hi zaza, Nigel is away preparing for a european tour.He will be back at the end of the month,so will hopefully get some info then :-).I'm really hoping he will have some photos as the 1981 tour was his first tour with Saxon.....,our drummer house sits and looks after Nigels cat when he is on tour!....

Disapointed i am.... thought we would have something no one has ever seen before..... I never understood why major labels have to officialise materials which have been traded between fans for so many years.... - Is that so difficult to dig up the vault??? - What is the point ???... The drummer in my band is close friends with Nigel Glocker from Saxon,who was on that tour!,will try and get some info from him about those gigs they did together,maybe some new tales from the road,hardly any info reported from anyone on that tour so might be interesting!.Will post anything our dru...

I saw Pictures of the Saxon set for the above Belgium show a while ago

As a collector of Ozzy audio for almost 30 years I find it odd that if they played all these shows on mainland Europe in late 1981, why didnt more than one get recorded? The buzz around Ozzy was huge at the time so why has so little surfaced. Has antbody checked how many Saxon shows from this tour ...

Ozzy Osbourne band was supporting Saxon on the heavy metal battle tour. This is confirmed that all dates after Germany were cancelled until the Cardiff show - from memory - No one ever talk about the date - Belgium - before Germany.....
btw I even saw a tape mentioning live in Lyon - France -.....

There are Saxon pictures of the Brussel show online... but no one can remember if Ozzy and Randy played or not that night.

Found the below Stub on a saxon Fan site.
Did they really played in Belgium before Germany?? Or this show was cancelled??
