Beautiful! Thanks for that--much appreciated.

Would love to hear Bob's track as well.

Re: The Man on The Flying Trapeze

I can imagine that easily. A studio version with Diary-quality production (original mix) would've been fucking incredible.

Re: The Man on The Flying Trapeze

Yeah, I liked the title -- I thought it fit with the music pretty well. But if Rudy Sarzo tells me it's not true, I've got to go with that. People just like to make shit up, especially bootleg dealers at record conventions in the '90s. "Yeah, this is copied straight from the master tape, guaran...

Re: The Man on The Flying Trapeze

I met a bootleg dealer around 1993 who made this claim. I'd see him at record conventions, and he alluded to some kind of personal association with the Rhoads family, and inside knowledge, etc. I was skeptical, but I played along and bought some tapes. He also claimed to be the original taper of the...

Re: Reunion Arena News Segment 1982

Different venue, but along the same lines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkqcxXtPV90 I hadn't seen this clip before. I'll bet there are similar news segments out there that are not in circulation yet -- maybe even with unseen footage of RR, depending on when the gig occurred. Interesting, too, to ...

Re: Randy thought Jimmy Page had sloppy playing? Listen.....

I'm pretty sure the "broken wrist" thing comes from an old Eddie Van Halen interview: "Jimmy Page is an excellent producer. Led Zeppelin I and Led Zeppelin II are classics. As a player, he's very good in the studio. I never saw him play well live. He's very sloppy. He plays like he's ...

Re: Bob Daisley on planned 3rd album with Randy (BATM)

While it's true that Sultans of Swing and Bark at the Moon don't sound alike (as songs), they do have some similar guitar licks. I think that's what distortionplus is hearing - those licks Jake plays at the end of Bark are not too far removed from what Mark Knopfler plays at the end of Sultans. Tota...

Re: Ozzy Osbourne Re-Issue Sneak Peak [AUDIO]

The footage and the book are just gravy, I would have liked the opportunity to purchase them seperate, but this is Sharon were talking about, after all, so I fully expect there to be sand in the lube when she jerks me off. Holy shit, that made me laugh. Going to take me a while to rid my brain of t...

Re: Well...The Trailer (Long Version) Should be soon

That's right - "Widescreen," in this case, would just crop out the top and bottom of the picture, rather than add anything to it. If they use a fake letterboxing effect, they might wind up cropping out Randy's picking hand in some spots. I'd much rather they go with the 4:3 frame as origin...

Re: In the studio with Ozzy

The April 1982 date doesn't match the audio. Oz mentions "Dana Strum of Slaughter," which would put this interview in 1990 or later. He also talks about the "Suicide Solution" controversy which was a few years after '82. It's a good interview, though - Don't know why they claimed...

Zakk made these two tweets back-to-back in 2009: "Blanco saw some of The RANDY FOOTAGE..... Very cool.... Tommy n Rudy on Bass n Drums.... small stage no Castle set... almost looks like" "Rehersal but it's a live Gig.... Sound Quality is Very clean.... For All us RANDY FREAKS ITS SLAM...

Re: Signed Blizzard Of Ozz Album

Aside from the questionable signatures, the iOffer one is the 1981 American pressing, not the 1980 English/European one. Getting autographs from the Daisley/Kerslake Blizzard lineup in America in 1981 is unlikely to the point of impossibility.

Re: SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS

The book was probably "Masters of Heavy Metal" (1984), a collection of articles from Guitar Player magazine. It was compiled and edited by Jas Obrecht: http://www.amazon.com/Masters-Heavy-Metal-Jas-Obrecht/dp/0711905487 Check out Jas' excellent website for the full-length, unedited intervi...
