Re: OZZY OSBOURNE's 'Diary Of A Madman' 40th-Anniversary Expanded Digital Edition Due In November
I'm still holding out for the 100th anniversary box set. You know, the one with a clone of Randy's thumb nail sealed in acrylic.

Did you see the induction on tv? To me, that was the cheap part.

Randy Rhoads Book
I got my RR book (Steven Rosen and Andrew Klein) a few years ago when it was selling for $60 something and now Amazon has copies for $700 PLUS all the way to $1000.00 something. Are these books getting this kind of money or just wishful thinking? How many books were published in total? I am shocked ...
Re: RIP EVH
Ain't talkin' about Rhoads! Without Ed, no one here but Frank would've heard of Randy Rhoads. Ozzy went looking for an EVH caliber player after Van Halen destroyed Sabbath. Without VH's success the 80s would've been SO different in my opinion. IMG_20201011_111454_426.jpg Exactly, Eddie is the one t...

Re: The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne
I just finished watching it this morning. I recorded it. It was an interesting walk down memory lane for me. I was a HUGH fan of Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhoads back in the 1980s. I always wondered what Ozzy was like at home, with his family. Then The Osbournes came out and I was glued to the TV and even...

Re: Can we please fix the links to on The Free Audio Section
Back in the day Joe and Ian, et al were younger and had more time and money to devote to this place. Unfortunately we all get older and move off to real world lives and have less time and money to devote to passions. Also unfortunately, hosting music isn't free. Neither is hosting a site. Paul, I h...

Re: Eddie Van Halen Interview 1982
After listening to Randy's solos, Ed's seem a bit incoherent. I can tell Randy spent some time on the construction of the parts where Ed's sound like he just threw something together for the sake of getting the session over. I might be way off base on this. That is what I hear. I like Ed's riffs a ...

Re: Where is this video/documentary from? (Peter Margolis)
Do you remember the 'official RR site' and who was chosen to run it and how the whole community of fans was turned on to wrestle control? Everything that went with that Doc became divisive and in the end it seemed that what ever we saw of RR was going to be sanitized by the R's to promote a pointle...

Wonder how that got started? Care to elaborate? I thought the game was for the thumb nail...Shockwave wrote:He and Kelly Garni had a competition to see who could grow it the longest.Rhoads-Fan wrote:Randy had a hell of a coke shovel @ 3:20. Was growing out the nail just something to do or what?
