I thought the same thing while I was watching SS so I popped in the boot dvd (78-82 compilation) and it was the same. So I'm guessing certain things look different because the footage is the cleanest we've seen so far?

What I don't understand is if they did each song twice, why did they air the flubs?

Ya but Ozzy flubbed the lyrics on Believer. I'm sure they would have fixed that back in 87 when they were doing Tribute.

They used video cameras, not film (cine) cameras. So they had all the cameras fed into a video mixing board and the operator picked and choosed which camera angle would be the master view. Now if they used 16mm cameras, it would have loked 100 times better, plus you would have all the unused footage...

Wondering if anyone out there knows how to identify the actual venue date of a King Buisket Flower Hour show vinyl record when the only info on the record is the airdate as the airdate will probably not be the actual date of the show?

widescreen...why in the f would you want it widescreen???? it wasn't shot in widescreen so what you are seeing is a full frame cropped to look like widescreen. You are actually missing picture that way.

The advert from the UK single of Over the Mountain does say 'live in Philadelphia", but it does sound like the Cleveland May 11 81 proformance.

sonically they're very similar. It's mostly a collage of excerpts of all the songs except Flying High Again, which is in it's entirety on the A side. I have that single and I guess I didn't notice any differences. I'm an anal bastard when it comes to fun stuff like that. Kinda like the very little ...
