These are beautiful photographs Shaun, remember when I said I am not interested in photo's and you told me you were not bothered about my hobby horse (live shows)???? This goes to prove that us old die hards really have a place at UR 8)
Thanks for sharing them with us.

Great photos mate.
Any idea where they were taken?
Possibly the first Hammersmith date?

Yeah Gaz i'm thinking the 20th September the first Hammersmith Odeon gig. They have a date on the back from the photographer and its 30th September 1980 so it could be any gig before then. But as you know Ozzy and Randy had the same stage clothes on for this show.

If you look closely Ozzy is wearing the diary of a madman shirt which has the half moon, star and the same along the neckline as the cover of "Diary of a Madman" album cover.

Surprisingly no video has ever materialised from the 1980 UK tour. Well saying that non has ever been published or been available to youtube etc. But plenty of still photographs are about which is better then nothing i suppose.

I think Ozzy had a few of these made up as he use to let the fans literaly rip the shirt from his back at some shows. I remember the Newcastle gig at one point the tassles and his sleeves had been pulled off by the front row fans. Then Ozzy just ripped his top from the neck downwards and tossed it into the crowd. It was always a mad part of the gig and it got the crowd going FUCKIN CRAZY. Plus the same top has been seen with the tassles across the middle, some with and some without.
