So apparently country music has their own version of the "frankenstrat". It's a Telecaster put together by Brent Mason in an effort to get as many different tones from one guitar as possible. He says it'd because in the early days he could only afford the one guitar and needed lots of different sounds for session work. He sasy the silver color is because when he bought his guitar it was in primer coat stage and he liked the tone of the wood so much he felt that painting it my wreck the sound.
That looks quite beafy actually. Ive seen Telecasters which the lipstick pickup chopped out and a 59 banged in the kneck, but i do like the look of that one a lot. very classy
