Tom Morello: hero/fake

(before i go into my watered down bull about this guy i am not trying to insult anybody who is a tom morello fan)

is tom a hero or a fake i mean he is really trying to create a whole new horizon on guitar playing with his inivative ways of playing he is like hendrix in that way however tom is..he's.. not good
and his solos are crap its not real playing its just noise

For those that are just curious...Tom Morello is the guitarist that played with Rage Against The Machine and also with Audioslave. As a guitarist he does bring new sounds, squeeks, chirps to the guitar that I have not heard of before. I do not know what his theoretical background is but my first impression is that he draws his energy from the hip-hop genre. I have parents of my guitar students who like him but I never got into his style of playing. I think Zakk Wylde has commented about the extreme use of the Wah which he finds somewhat annoying.
