According to Rudy Sarzo's book, RR had committed to doing the live album and then one more studio record and tour before going back to school. I think it's very likely that Bob Daisley would have been brought back in for the next release. Sarzo has never shown to be a songwriter and Daisley's lyrics and Ozzy's melodies always worked well together (especially on the first two records with RR writing most of the music.) I think there would have been an even more pronounced classical influence and more interesting arrangements, as RR's interest and knowledge in that genre was deepening. There are two tragedies with RR's passing: the fact that he lost his life and, in my opinion, that he hadn't reached his peak. I also think he would have gotten back into rock and roll a few years down the line (if not earlier) and done some truly unique work. And (on just a hunch), I do think he would have started using ESPs and Soldanos as the late 80s/early 90s commenced (maybe just wishful thinking.)
