You'll have to ask Kelly Garni or look it up on www.rr.tk. I'm 6'4" and 280 err lots of pounds. I don't think I would have tangled with Randy. I forget the details but he was one bad muth - you hush yo mouth!
I gather he didn't go looking for it but he didn't back down either. The man was solid muscle from the pictures I've seen.

omg, this is too funny. i assure you the man would be horrified if he read this.
The way I've heard Randy described, Frank, I think he'd find it funny that we ask a lot of the questions we do here (i.e. 'what type of cigarettes did Randy smoke', 'did he dye his hair', 'did Ozzy really punch him'). You've described Randy as a guy who was serious about his music, yet more talk occurs on non-musical subjects than musical ones these days.
Is this seriosly true? Depending on how hard the punch is I"ll feel even more sorry for Randy. One question though, was it hard enough to knock him down?

I very much doubt those little questions will ever be answered, but i think the fact he did it, is bad enough

given a round of fisticuffs involving a most likely intoxicated ozzy the only person liable to go "down" is ozzy himself
such a shame ozzy and randys relationship turned sour towards the end, i bet that haunts ozzy to this day...
I doubt that Randy Rhoads would hurt anyone even if he was strongest guy in the world (not to slight his physique or anything though). Also, I think that this story has been heavily distorted through media and what not. I think its best to entertain the notion that Ozzy may have been under the influence and done something very bad and hurtful to Randy because he had no rationalism at the time. However, I strongly believe they made peace with eachother and made ammends. Randy Rhoads just seems like the person to understand the situation afterwards and identify that it was a mistake on Ozzy's part and that it was unintentional.
