Bob's new book title

The problem is there have been a couple of threads where there are some in this forum that are on a Bob & Lee bashing spree. This is simply unbelievable!!! Yes, Bob & Lee could have managed their business affairs better. But let us remind ourselves that those two AWESOME albums were destroyed for the last decade. Better yet, the general public rock fans had no idea. I for one am glad Bob has said a few things about this to the public.

How in the hell is Bob & Lee get on the "Bitter Old Bugger" list anyway? Next thing I'll hear is someone trying to convince me that "Dick" Cheney was actually a good guy.....

We are all here to celebrate Randy Rhoads and those great albums that Bob & Lee had a big part in creating. Bashing Bob & Lee???? Kick a brotha whilst he's down, why don't ya.... What's wrong with some people?

It's interesting that something that was nothing but an attempt at throwaway humour could be met with such vitriolic bullshit.

It's pretty clear you dislike Bob Daisley, speaking for myself, I didn't take the comment as humor...I just figured you were taking yet another jab at the guy, and turning a positive thread into a negative...obviously a few others did as well.
As you yourself said last week:

Those who aren't in "Bob's Corner" come across as though Bob wronged them in life somehow.

Jeesh, lighten up folks. I'm totally in Bob and Lee's camp on this stuff but still think its funny as hell to poke fun at the title of Bob's book. Sometimes he does come across as bitter toward the O's.....and rightfully so. So why not not joke about it. Heck I bet even Bob would laugh at that.

For the record, I don't dislike Bob, regardless of what digging up past comments may 'prove'. I'm well aware of his contribution to my 2 favourite albums of all time. However, I'm not going to apologise for not giving a crap about his 25 year old legal dispute. If he was destitute or the legal proceedings had affected his health then my attitude would be different.

I stand by my comment re-posted above, it's clear to me that most 'in Bob's corner' do take his plight far too personally. I understand it's a sensitive subject, proven by the fact that it dominates a Randy forum, after all Randy is the only reason I signed up.
