Hi everyone, Well I have been looking to join" Ultimate Rhoads " for a long time and I finally had some time so I am finally here. I have been a Randy Fan ever since I heard the Blizzard Album when it first came out..... Never did get to see Randy Live and I will always regret that as long as I live even though it was not my fault.... Couldn't drive yet back then ( 12yrs old at the time) and my Brother was supposed to take me up to the Aug.8th ,81' show at Music Mountain in South Fallsburgh NY but he came down with a case of tonsillitis and we did not go.......(I would like to elaborate more about this at a later date) Figured I catch the next leg of the tour but we all know the rest of that story..... There isn't a day that goes by when I listen to XM radio and cant wait to hear a Randy/Bob/Lee/Ozzy song come over the airway and I crank it up for sure. I even have both albums downloaded and ready to play at my fingertips but there is just something special when ya hear it over a radio and know there are others out there hopefully enjoying it as much as you. I thought I had heard and seen all subject matter on randy that was out there so far until I joined here just the other day. I have to say thank you to everyone on here that is responsible for digging up more and more info and unseen pics and unheard live tracks... I can really spend many days on here reading and its awesome!! Just to give a bit about how much of a Randy fan I am here are some of the things I believe...
1) I believe Randy Rhoads was and still is the most influential and greatest metal/neoclassical metal/rock guitarist ever and soon to be a classical guitarist genius as well if he was still alive today we could only wonder.. (Randy was the reason I played guitar through my younger years)
2) I believe Ozzy will never get over Randys death and would not be where he is now if it weren't for Randy. I know its old news and Ozzy even admits to it..
3) I believe Sharon is Evil and she broke up the original Blizzard thinking she knew what she was doing /changing randys contract after his death...... and we can go on and on about this I'm sure and maybe I will find it somewhere in here where it is a main topic.
4) I believe there is more to the story and evidence on that horrible 03/19/1982 morning in Leesburg FLA.
5) I believe Andrew Aycock was a @#$%^%$#@#!!!! And that was not his first crash with an aircraft!!!
6) I believe there is much more great quality sound and video of Randy during the Ozzy years than just After Hours and the pro shot footage from the news show that interviewed Ozzy... Entertainment Tonight I am pretty sure was the show.
I know there is the other footage out there of Live shows but not that cystal clear footage we all would love to see more of.
7) And I also believe that us randy fans do not have closure because of such a short time it was and the tragic way randy died. He was also such a great person and cared about others and what he did and how he entertained and always thrived for perfection in playing guitar.

Thank you very much ! I am already reading through and posting ! It really feels good to have the opportunity to chat with other Randy fans and share info and of course read and learn more details.
