Unable to register at RandyRhoads.tk

I've been trying for weeks to register over there and keep getting a "Creating a new account is currently not possible" message every time. Anyone here a member over there and know why I'm unable to register? I can't get in touch with any of the mods or anything because unless you're registered, you can't ask anyone for help....soooo.....

Couldn't tell you why. I don't think many people are active on there at all. Haven't seen much from the moderators or the administrators over there for some time. Sad, I actually liked that website. (Though, many here dislike the people that run it.)

I think like us they've had problems with spammers. I've currently disabled registrations here and intend to unlock the registration in the next day or two.

I think that's why they've locked their registrations. I've had to lock here as well

Joe, have you tried Google's reCAPTCHA? I am seeing great results using it (not for a forum, but an online service).

I'll check it out Alex, thanks. We need something tbh, the current system can't handle the spam registrations.

Anyone know how to contact admin over there? I still have never been able to register and can't PM anyone over there as a "guest."

Can't say that I blame you there, with all the spammers out there. I was just hoping somebody over there would let me squeeze in under the door....
