I have never been but I would love to have been there the year Zakk Wylde went.

For anyone who's been what was the experience like? Where there any events or was it simply just a gathering and then you go home?

I would like to go one year, just need motivation. I live in NH and it doesn't get much farther than that in the USA to go to CA. I could probably grab a southwest flight for like $200 maybe.

That and I probably wouldn't go unless it fell on a weekend..

Would be cool if we could all get together one year and go? Maybe plan on 2-3 years from now or something. I'm sure most of us will still be here lol

I attended the 30th. I was 15 years old at the time, 18 now. It was something I will never forget in a great way. Kelle and Kathy were so kind and i loved getting to talk with and ask questions. Mrs. Rhoads was under the weather so she was not there. the atmosphere was great. fans talking with each other. monitors were set up so randy's music was being played. some guy just randomly gave me a poster of randy that is now in my room. never got to say thank you because he handed it to me and walked off like a drug deal hahaha. another guy brought randy's pedal board for people to see. it was very hard to come to terms that the body of my hero was just a few feet away from me though, made me very sad. but it nonetheless it was an experience i will never forget. such a nice family, very down to earth. i also got to tour the music school and see the room randy taught in.

33 years today. rest in peace to my musical inspiration, Randy Rhoads.

I have never been but it is an ocean and a continental land mass away from where I live.

I keep saying I'm going to go and I end up not being able to... the cemetery is a 45 minute drive from my house.

40 minutes? I get bored at least once a week and drive around for at least an hour lol. Living that close i would go at least a couple times a year and especially on the 3/19, even its just for the fact that you could meet some other die hard Rhoads fans like us.

Dude I drive 45 minutes to work. I'd gladly drive 45 to see Randy's resting place on the anniversary.
