Man,Oh Man.....Has this turned into a Mess.We GOT CONFIRMATION OF RANDY FOTAGE
Believe the fact That Ozzyy WOULD NOT RELEASE A BOOTLEG QUALITY REPRESENTATION OF RANDY! It CLEARLY SAYS-30+ mins of NeverbeforeSeen RR Footage!!
It Says NOT BOOTLEGGED Because Coincidentarly, that is One of the Two Known Ozzy/Randy Live Bootlegs. They Just Wouldnt Do It.....Didnt the Guy who Filmed the Palladium (who was actually there for Motorhead,& Ran out of Battery during Ozzy) Say that he had Givin Sharon a A+ Quality Copy of what he shot (IDK,CT & the 1st part of Believer) in the Mid 90s or early 2000s???If that were the Case,we'd have ALOT MORE RANDY. All those Kick Ass Boots, still arnt Up To Par for ANYTHING Ozzy is going to put His & Randys Name on.

I am Happily Surprised that we are getting Much More than I Honestly expected from that Camp.Like It Says "Newley Aqquired/Never Before Seen Footage" And Coincidentaly The CONFIRMATION Comes Just Before Randys Death Anniversary???I am one that will never be happy, they couldnt release enough rare stuff to satisfy my RR Appitite
I Just say FINALLY SOMETHING!!!!

I mean if all you are wanting is the dvd, and money is this big of a issue for you then, just get it for FREE online. You will be able to get the video FREE online as soon as it comes out, and it will be the same thing as having the dvd. If someone else hasn't already uploaded the DVD to the internet on the day I get mine then I will upload it to the internet myself and everyone that don't want to pay $150 can just download it from google video or youtube or piratebay or wherever else i upload it. You people should show more respect for Randy, todays the day he died, you all should be more respectful and quit all the stupid bickering and complaining.

Yeah. OK. Strong-arming people to buy the expensive box-set is really a cool thing to do. They could have easily packaged the 2 cd's and the DVD together....there was NO reason they couldn't package it that way too, and thats why some are angry.
I don't want to download it online. I want the product.
This has nothing to do with showing or not showing respect to Randy. This release isn't even geared toward Randy.....i mean, its not a replica guitar in the box, its an absurd cross replica.
I'll end up springing for the thing anyway, i just think its a really sh***y thing to do. But then again, almost anything and everything the Osbourne's touch nowadays is sh***y.
Get off your high horse.

i'm hoping for the best too, my friend.......the only thing is that there is no confirmation of any kind yet that says what type of footage it is. It could be mediocre bootleg footage or a better quality type of film. We just don't know yet. I'm anxiously waiting for some kind of word from the powers that be. Although it could be awhile before we hear. This isn't a top priority for them as it is for us. Their main goal is marketing this as an Ozzy product first and foremost.

I agree that we are being milked.

The simple fact, however, is that I want to see the footage badly enough that I'm going to pay it. Im just glad its coming out.

I think it will be cool. Not sure if you've seen this article but it talks about the new footage and what it is: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... mID=155499

This is a youtube vid of Kathy and Kelle at the memorial today. I guess they previewed some of the vid for those who were there. I'll post the link and the text of folks comments, in the event some of you cannot see fb for whatever reason. Interesting comments, needless to say:
http://www.facebook.com/randyrhoads.soc ... 3070304851

At end of the video, you will see the IPAD that they had the videos on.. Almost!!
That's great! Thanks for sharing all this!
did u film the footage that he had on the ipad ? I'm dying to see it Xd
No, he asked that we did not..
aaah ok :P
was the sound quality good ? like tribute ? :P
Not as good as tribute, but pretty clear. You could here the notes very clearly. The video was not perfect or as good as the audio. They had a video of Ozzy seeing the footage for the first time and Ozzy was joking about the tassels hanging from his shirt..
Thanks for posting....one question...was the video showing Randy clearly..and close up? lc
John S Luekemeyer It was shot from left side of stage but very close to the stage. Rudy was far left and Randy was off of the right side as usual. But they pretty much took up the entire field of view. I would say the quality is good and by far the best that I have seen.
I cryed watching this. Thanks Kelle and Kathy.
Wish I could have been there, maybe some day.....
3 hours ago · LikeUnlike.RANDY RHOADS3 hours ago · LikeUnlike.John S Luekemeyer No, even though it was to the left they were so close and angled toward Randy that he and Ozzy were taking up 3/4 of the screen height..

3 hours ago · LikeUnlike.John S Luekemeyer You will like it.. I saw Randy on 7/2/81 and it sounds and looked like I was there again.
3 hours ago · LikeUnlike.Sibella Surrey My heart goes out to Randy Rhoads family..A wonderful clip. thank you for sharing..xo
3 hours ago · LikeUnlike.Brenton Worthy The Clips were EXCELLENT, Can't wait to see the whole thing

*edit*
I tried to clean this up somewhat: usernames, times like/unlike, just so it was easier to read...maybe someone from here or TK was at the memorial and could describe what was shown in more detail. I don't know if Kelle showed this only once, or what, as it would be a bunch of folks crowded around an ipad.
Nice to see that the family and the Osbournes are on good terms, as they were provided this footage two months before this is due for release. There was mention that Bob daisley and Kelle are in touch with oneanother, who knows? Maybe some fences were mended.

Damn... that vid stops just too quick.... Hope someone who seen it on that Ipad can jump in here. :) The footage won't be garbage, they never would release qualtiy like the crappy Palladium footage we have now. I'm not worried about that.
•"Thirty Years After The Blizzard" DVD Documentary, plus over 70 mins of additional rare live performances and interviews
Of course there are different ways to interpret the sentence "plus over 70 mins of additional rare live performances and interviews", we can't say for sure how it's meant:
-70 minutes continuous footage and then some additional interviews?
-over 70 minutes with interviews and footage mixed up?

I'm listening to the Palladium 2nd show right now, the complete show lasts 69:43 minutes. (say 70 minutes....)
The winner of the rat race is still a rat.

When all this came out last summer regarding the footage kelly said he was hearing it wad better quality than after hours , zakk also said it was very good quality on his twitter account.

Remember though , it could have been house cameras and they were not given permission to film the show, so then it would have been considered a bootleg..

I agree also ozzy would not release something unless it was very good quality..

Im going out on a limb here but it could have been the 1982 footage and the palladium is pro shot.

I was also curious as to the song election so I asked him & he replied:

"Mr Crowley, Steal Away, and ??? There was so much going on I could not remember. Ronny North might remember the other two."

Sounds soooo good! Can't wait! Now if only we could get the extended versions of "Tonight" & "YCKRR"...
