Uh, I didn't get that feeling at all. Normally in times of tragedy, people become closer.

That doesn't come over to me, how are you viewing this Matt ????. from the past footage/clips i have seen where Ozzy & $haron have found it difficult to talk about RR death. The Japanese RR dvd has $haron in floods of tears and too emotional asking the cameras to stop filming her being upset..So i would think being an eye witness at the crash site and watching what unfolded would have a lasting effect on anyone who knew Randy or not...The tour manager cannot talk about this subject now and its 26 years later..It must of been horrific to stand and watch the accident happening infront of you and being totaly useless.I could imagine this to bring people closer together as the tour bus could of been hit and the whole band could of been wiped out in a worse tragedy.

This keeps bugging in my head since the day I saw that clip: if they have pretty unimportant stuff like that with Randy saying "Happy Birthday..." on tape one can wonder what more they have?

It makes me think the opposite: "Man they must be scrapping the bottom of the barrel if that's all they can come up with!"

Well yeah, but we aren't talking about audio. ;)
Besides, I've never been much of a bootleg person anyway.

But, as I've mentioned before, the question has always been about "pro-shot" footage, and there hasn't been any "pro-recorded" audio since Tribute.

Bootlegs are amateur... but they are all we've got.

It is slated to come out next September, I believe. And most, if not all, of the "never-before-seen" stuff will be stories and photos related by friends. The film is to be about Randy Rhoads the person more than Randy Rhoads the guitar player. So will there be "unreleased footage"? They'll have a little bit of the dress rehearsal stuff.

Do a search at www.nobitching.com and you'll find a wealth of info, including comments from the producer.

Well if it's already so hard for them to release some audio, why would it be different with footage?

Hey Paul,
Oke then, why didn't they release the "After Hours" show officially?
(I'm not talking about the few frames used in the Crazy Train clip)
As for audio, we can be sure that besides the Cleveland show (Tribute) at least two different concerts ( Montreal '81 and one 1980 Blizzard gig) are pro-audio recorded.
Considering it all it's hard to deny that there is a great lack of motivation to publice some new stuff. My question is not only about Pro shot but also about super8 stuff. They could do stuff like Metallica did with the "Cliff em all" vid.......... And with so few available it's a little odd that there isn't more released since Tribute came out.

I have that but it's poor quality and not even the songs in their entire.
