Pet Peeves

Post by highpriestess »

sine my thread is gone now due to the now infamous UR blackout of august 08 *snicker* i am making a NEW thread in which we can bitch, gripe, and complain to our hearts content. :)

let me start with fatasses in wal-mart or any other store that have to use the little cart thing that you sit on and ride like a hover-round or whatever those things are. now i am NOT talking about disabled people... or elderly people... STRICTLY people who have to use that ting because they are really large and cant handle carrying their own weight around. Good lord. get up off your ass and walk through the store and MAYBE you might lose some of that gut!

In particular, we stopped in wal mart for some school supplies. now inside this wal mart there is a McDonalds. so we decide to stop and grab our lunch there and eat before we got the stuff we needed from the store... there a woman inside the LITTLE McDonalds IN one of those things!!! and she is trying to get out of the LITTLE McDonalds and the isle is so small that she is having to go backwards and turn a lil, the forward then turn a lil, then backwards and turn a lil, etc, etc. etc. and the whole time we're waiting on her so we can get to the drink thing to make our drinks... i wanted to SCREAM "hey... COW... why dont you just stand up for a minute and turn that thing around... ya coulda parked it outside the restaurant for a minute, surely you can walk your big ass five steps to the french fries, right.....or better yet, SKIP THE FRIGGIN McDONALDS NEXT TIME!!!!" i know this sounds mean, but seriously....

OMG! I know what you mean! We don't have a mc donalds in our "regular" Wally World.

My most recent pet peeve is at this very moment, I am doing a mental list of crap that I need
to bring with me to my sister's house, because of that stupid thing that will be in the gulf by tomorrow.
Better people....
Better food...
And better beer.

A recent item on the news has banned all disabled scooters from travelling on the local Metro underground train. One old woman who entered the double doors on the train from the platform.Couldn't control the damn thing and she excellarated and came crashing through the doors opposite and ended up on the track on the opposite line.If a train had been coming the other way she would of been well F*cked...They showed the film of the CCTV on the local news.It was very alarming and that was someones Mother -Granny but i laughed  .She managed to get up and she seemed fine. But at the same time some people do rely on these to get around and through this one incident, they have been totally banned to travel on the Metro.

I have one too many peeves to talk about. I think it's mainly how people don't do things that they are perfectly capable of doing by themselves, but instead, I have to do it. It's a pain.

There's some others, but they come to me daily.

when people turn the water off in the shower without turning the knob that switches it back off of shower so that when you come along and lean in and turn on the water it instantly comes out of the shower head and soaks the entire back of your head while you yell and scream because it's usually ice cold at first.

Old people who drive freedom mobility carts on the road when they are un-licensed for the road, I see them here on the road when they should be on the paths that run alongside.
A few years ago I saw two aged ladies driving side by side along one of our cities busiest roads both with little dogs on leads trotting at the side!!!!!!!!!!!! worse was that it was on a blind bend with lorries rushing towards them and having to swerve into each others path! although a really wide pathway was on one side on the fucking road. :x
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

Subject- Neurotic parents that over protect their children

I am going to change the info to not be unprofessional, but I get sick of the damage I can see domineering and neurotic parents doing.
Boys of 18 who say their parents worry about them travelling on a bus for a 6 mile journey, for example, so do not attend my lesson with them!

I have a relative of 39 who has been over mothered his whole life and when out with him he is constantly distracted, texting his mum! Not surpsingly he has difficulty with relationships as an adult. My girl 'friend' says he has been babied way too much since a young boy.

On the opposite I completely respect and admire these particular parents I teach who have started letting their nine year old daughter walk to and from my guitar lesson (it is only about 1/3 of a mile)

She is a great kid and I had a conversation with her mum saying that if kids are not allowed to develop their instincts for trouble by being kept in and mollycoddled they ironically are in more danger than a child who begins to be allowed freedom at a young age.

I hate dealing with tense bossy parents though. They neevr seem to listen!

*high five* matty!

i refuse... REFUSE to date a mommas boy. If your mom constantly "left the iron on" and didn't let you eat mudpies when you were a kid... or drink from the garden hose.... then keep your phone number, i don't want it. last thing i need in my life is another kid to raise!

high five back baby!!

For all my difficulties I have had I completely endorse people exercising the gung ho-ness in themselves and tasting life..even if that means it being viewed as a 'sin' sometimes or being socially unacceptable..how the hell are you suppoosed to grow other wise!!

Many of my friends who are ladies say the same that a man who is molly coddled is VERY unattractive!!!!!!!

Misuse of apostrophes drives me crackers. It's a trivial thing, I know, but it does!

Whiny brats who say that "there ain't nuffink for ver kids to do round 'ere" to try and justify whatever it is that they shouldn't be doing.

Oh, and 'aks' instead of 'ask'.

And 'have' being replaced by 'of'. (I should of done that instead....)

And Don Henley's 'Boys of Summer'.....makes my skin crawl.

Shall I go on???

my son thinks it's funny as hell to put a hair tie or rubber band around the sprayer thing thats connected to the kitchen sink so that when i turn the water on it sprays me and half the kitchen. i get so mad i yell at him using his first AND middle name. you know your mom is mad when she uses your middle name. and he just laughs like its the funniest thing in the world.
