VirtuosoRhoads - Introduction

Post by VirtuosoRhoads »

Hello, new to the board and thought I'd make a proper introduction. Randy is one of the guitarists who have inspired me to pick up the instrument myself. Have been playing for a couple of years have been taking lessons for 2 aswell. I listen to many styles of music, but for the most part it is hard rock and heavy metal. That should be enough for now, I'm just glad to be here :)

A 1994 Jackson Soloist, bolt-on neck. I plan on repainting, replacing the floyd rose, maybe a new neck and new pickups. After I'm done it should look pretty damn cool. Thanks guys for welcoming me.

Awesome, Soloists are excellent. I use a Jackson here as well, a Rhoads. Jackson's are brilliant guitars. How are you thinking of repainting it? As in what colour or design?

White, maybe a metallic white or flaked white. I'm getting tired of black guitars so I'm going to do the exact opposite.

I know exactly what you mean. Everyone seems to have black guitars anyway. They also seem to disapear a little on a dark stage which is pretty boring.
