I am long time listener and enjoy the music. I currently work as a syndicated Radio Personality; hosting a Classic Rock and Metal show..It's nice to meet everyone here. :D I look forward to meeting you all here. I have enjoyed Randy's music since 81. I was formerly a TV and stage actress overseas. I never got to see him play live. But I loved the genre and still play my acoustic as a hobby. Thanks for allowing me on your forum. I hope to get to know you all better. :D

I changed my user ID because Google chrome sucks..Its me ....same person..I was curious if anyone has had any experience teaching muisc to Kids and Young Adults with Autism..I am teaching my son guitar and using American Sign Language for visual keys...and and all feedback would be gladly accepted by any and all..I bought my son Eric a Fender Strat and practice amp with a Jackhammer pedal..Just background FYI..I know Electric is easier than acoustic..it's just the transition..this is his second guitar. He had an acoustic as a boy. :) He is 25 now and focused. :)

On a final note...the banner is my NEW TOY!!! A Luna!!!! I am trying to pick up russian and hungarian folk music with it. It's a lot of fun..my guitar named itself when I played it. :D *bounce*

Welcome back i'm sure that a few of our UR members could give you some good advice etc. I don't play and when giving a guitar i tend to pluck and bend the whammy bar. I'd love to be able to play the guitar or the banjo but i don't have the patience to study etc. My brother is a HM drummer and is in a band in the UK. He's been playing since he was a teenager and it's good to see him hard at it and gigging regular. He's very dedicated and it's cool to get away with the band on tour.

its odd that you mention a banjo...my son wanted one after he saw the Muppet Movie..where Kermit plays the song "Rainbow Connection." He did however take his harmonica and played along to Blackfoot's "Train Train." As soon as the tempo and guitar kicked in, he laughed and giggled a wicked laugh...he said "Mom, I am going to be a little badass one day!!!" hahahahahaahhahha! Autistic kids are hiliarious..I treat him like an average young man :D
