KC and the Sunshine Band were from the Disco era, but if you break down their sound, the funk bass is great and the horns were awesome!

Oh Ace, is your name really Darryl because you remind me of a good friend who has this stuff on his playlist. I'm not serious, Darryl would never spend time on a site like this. No offense to us. Danzig, Glen. I never got into these guys. I have a few friends really into it but it reminded me of the Blizzard Band, they had no idea about group dynamics. Sort of like the Sex Pistols which if you hear them early live with Glen Matlock, great band. Sid Vicious, mostly horrible. On record store day '12, I bought 5 Misfits Walk among them LPs. Why? 500 were made clear and 1,250 of red and 1,250 and retail sold them for $17.99 but it was like the golden ticket (Willy Wonka) which you didn't know until you opened them. The next day the colored vinyl went for $60 per album and the clear went for $120+. I sold 2 red/blue to friends for cost ($20) , I sold a clear for $120 on eBay and kept a blue and a clear at home, after all they were paid for. I haven't really ever got into them but Rhino (ex bootlegger) made it fun. Like a lottery ticket. I have a Bowie "Starman" pic disc that I kept which was selling for $60 and was $16.99. I bought some other stuff including the Believer - polka dot single and the Ozzy live numbered albums which nobody seems to care about so, its not all milk an honey.

Randy Rhoads (QR Japan sheet)
Least favorite band: The Ramones...
I get why Randy didn't dig punk because of the musical limitations. However, it coveys an attitude (primal) and is a legitimate form of expression just like KC and his sunshine band but everyone was on coke in the disco era, practically. I'm guessing if you went to a disco and you weren't on coke it was a scary and unenjoyable time.
