Sustain

Post by Supernaut »

Got any tips on sustaining harmonics? I can already sustain a fret 7 natural harmonic for quite a long time. But not long enough  Any tips? It might be different on bass...I dunno

Billy Sheehan and a friend of mine both put light overdrive on their basses, apparently it helps loads. Also lets you do pinch harmonics easier. Not sure if I got this right but hey, worth a try.

Hahahaha  , now that would be pretty cool, sort of true though... My friend has a similar playing style to him.
