Lordi gave the conservative schlager-nerds a massive
ass-kicking and paved the way for other rock/metal acts in the future :twisted:

Yeah, definitely. But I'd have to say that Wig Wam is part of the reason Lordi was "accepted". I mean, they were the first "rock/metal" contribution to GP. And now, well, I think metal will be a part of every GP contest in the future 8)

there was this 80's kinda band who competed in the
Swedish tryouts ... called The Poodles and the
song was Night of passion :D

It wasn't very great but it was listenable,
so check it out if you have the chance :D

I hate the Eurovision song contest but I had to smile when they won.
The people who ran the show seemed devastated that a rock act won the competition.

Too hard? It's not exactly Eruption or 2112. Some tabs are at ultimate-guitar.com.
