but then I somehow found this clip and it made me go

Guess I'll have to check out more of his stuff

Great technique but other than that it does nothing to me. The essence of the song is totally lost imo. This is not an song for acrobatics, it should ROCK!!!!!

His influence on Malmsteen is huge; performance wise, as well as playing style.
