Tab request topic

Post by Supernaut »

Thought this would be a good idea. If people need a tab or anything related to learning a song, post up a request and our members can see if they can help you out.

Right now, can anyone get me a tab, or at least a chord pattern for the You Looking At Me solo? I have an incpmplete tab (some of the solo bass is missing) and I could either try and get it, or use the chord pattern to improvise it close. The chord names aren't marked on the tab

cheers!

(If you think this is a good idea, sticky it if you like)

What type of tab do you need? I have a powertab version with no bass but two guitars during the solo and so you could probably use the 2nd guitar to figure out a bass line. Sorry that i'm not much help :(

ANY Messiah tabs would be beyond brilliant. Lionheart by Saxon would be nice as well (powertab please). Any Michael Angelo off of Planet Gemini would also be strongly appreciated. :) I know, I know, i'm being a bit hopeful :D

Powertab would be good, ASCII is better than nothing!

If all else fails, a chord pattern (which I could get from the powertab you have) would be good too. I'll improvise with it then.

I have a Speed Lives tab if you want it.

It's alright, I think I have that tab. I've found a link for a tab which is the same as my one I think. The link is http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/o/o ... er_tab.htm Seems quite good to me.

Cheers. thing that annoys me about that site is that most of the tabs have no bass :(

We're a musical minority!

Yeah, luckily for me I don't play bass yet, i'd love to since they are really fun but I just don't yet.

That site should have another filter on the main tab screen for instruments. They have one for guitar and bass normal tabs but I can't read normal tabs, they should sort out that sort of thing for powertabs as well along the lines of "Powertabs including: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard", that sort of thing.

I hate ASCII tabs. I tried working out "Dirty Women" by Black Sabbath on one.....it sucked frankly

Ooh someone who actually wants to play bass! I get a lot of stick from some people. Especially someone who used to play bass, but when to guitar because "bass is crap"......he plays nu-metal guitar

Hahaha :D, I don't know how he can say Bass is crap if he plays nu metal. I suppose nu metal bass is probably very boring as well though.

I used to think that guitar was boring because I was playing nu metal which is boring (i didn't know anything better existed). Then I heard some Maiden and Bark at the Moon :D. I'm now playing 80's metal, power metal, classical, "neo-classical", hair metal and just generally any metal with cool guitars.

OMg the "band" I'm "supposedly" in always wants to play nu-metal! Argh it's so annoying!

But yea, good on you for discovering proper guitar ; )

Need any Sabbath? Now that I have a lot of tabs for!

I think I may have more Sabbath tabs than songs! I only have seven albums, a few live tracks and some Ozzy and Dio solo albums.

If you need any Maiden tabs though :D. I have 127 Maiden powertabs on my pc at the moment :D. There are a couple that I think i'm missing still though! I've been searching for Gangland for guitar in powertab format for a long time now. I might give up soon.

Well only 4 of them are mine :D, the others are my brothers.

I only have You Said It All with guitar although during the solo it has 2 guitars and so I guess you could figure out some bass lines, it's on that ultimate-guitar site if you're interested.

Oh right :D, sorry about that. That would be awesome, thanks :D.

Do you happen to have "whole world's fallin down" or something, it's by Ozzy off of Ozmosis. A friend of mine who is also an Ozzy fan has been looking for it for a long time.

Take it that's a bonus track? I've got the album but I haven't heard it...so....

Trouble is with You Said It All, I can only really email it to you. Otherwise I need somewhere to host it!
