Peter Frampton

okay, ive read about how he reached superstardom because of "Frampton Comes Alive" but i keep searching and i havent really found anything useful that clears my mind about how his fame declined, so can you guys help me out and tell me the story? I've heard the bee gees mentioned but thats it.
